Hi, great informational site. I recently started playing the game and have spent countless hours practicing but golf rules are something that I have avoided up until now. Wonderful amount of information around golf rules I will definately bookmark and come back.

Thanks for the great blog.

Welcome MJ,

I hope you’ll come by regularly and comment in our other posts. This one and another on Saving on Tee Times are two of my personal favorites.

We’ll be publishing far more guest posts in the near future and have a category just for golf swing articles.

Hello James,

Thank you for sharing the link. There are tons of golf blogs and we welcome them to interact with us in the comments and by exchanging guest blog posts. The post I’ve featured in CommentLuv about whether golfers should emulate Tiger Woods’ swing is a recent guest post.

Many golf blogs including this one contain an online golf store.

You guys have really done a great job, this is a very comprehensive golf site! I was looking over your training aids and came across the the P3 ProVideo Capture. I have heard some good things about this product. Is there anything you guys would recommend to compliment or go with this product?

Welcome Josh,

Our apologies for taking so long to answer. We have too many irons in the fire all the time. I am not personally familiar with that program.

I see you are also a fan of the Do Follow CommentLuv KeywordLuv community. Check out our post about KeywordLuv blogs to find our other sites and those of other bloggers we know sorted by niche.

Welcome Simon,

Yes, golf rules are amazingly complicated so golfers that really understand them do have the advantage. Any serious blogger might want to carry the golf rules book we feature on this page. It would make a great gift too.

Is there a rules fast start guide available that would be suitable for new golfers with just the basic rules, not the complicated stuff?

Hi Nick,

I would carry the Golf Rules Book shown in the image above in my golf bag for easy reference. That way you would always have all the rules handy.

I’ll see if I can locate a simplified golf rules handbook to add to this post.

Golf rules certainly are complicated! We are blessed to have many excellent golf courses in Florida and many Florida homes are built around golf courses, but we are so busy working we haven’t made the time to play.

What a great resource! Thanks for sharing all the quality golf links. It’ll be invaluable for anyone who really loves golf or is simply doing a bit of research. With all the low quality internet sites out there these days – websites that provide value are even more valuable!

what a great sport golf is, some people think you just hit a ball round a course , it is no where near as easy as that every shot take careful thinking and judging on what club to use and even some golfers think maybe 2 or 3 shots ahead. Love the sport also love watching on TV.
thanks for sharing the keywordluv plugin much appreciated it is helping me build quality backlinks to my site

May have to bookmark this fantastic information. Could always use this as a refrerance to come back to. There are so many aspects of the sport that it can be quite over wheming sometimes, you just need to focus on whats bothering you and go out and fix it.

Tony from Readeo September 2, 2010 at 12:05 am

The rules are important to know but there is nothing like going out on the course with a buddy and a cigar and having a relaxing day. If God had a sport, it would be golf for sure. Cheers!
