Tee Choices For You: Wooden, Plastic, And Brush

by Allan Marsh on November 8, 2010

Tees were not immediately used when golf was first played. Somebody must have innovated having the ball sit in atop a small piece of wood to make a hit easier. They probably didn’t know that in the future, tees would be manufactured by numerous companies.

Wooden tees are still a staple in today’s game. Some golfers are die-hards for wooden tees. There are those who will not change what they are used to.

Plastic tees did the job of a wooden tee, only without the splintering effect. You can also have your name on your plastic tees.

Among the golf tees, the ones made of brush are more recent. It’s a type of tee that mimics the effect of a ball lying atop a nice grassy area in the fairway. A great tee shot is enough to make a golfer elated.

A brush tee lets you swing with the same confidence you have when your ball has the perfect lie. If your club hits a brush tee, you won’t feel anything at all.

As shown in studies, the use of brush tees causes better shots. The brush tee causes no impact between it and the club.

A little worry or distraction can affect a golfer’s game.

There are many selections of brush tees to choose from.

Some said that golf is rich people sport. How true is that? As far as I know that everyone can play this kind of sport, the only thing is if they can afford it. Anyway, golf is really fun, every course has its own excitement.

What works for me is the wooden tee,I like the way it is how the ball lays on top of it.Then I’ll make a swing for it and pick up my tee.
